Work with us

If you are an exceptional educator looking to join an outstanding primary school in one of the world’s most dynamic cities, we have the perfect opportunity for you.

That is because at Dubai English Speaking Schools, we think differently, and we act differently. We are proud of our traditional values and thrive on our progressive outlook. We embody excellence, innovation, and the ability to ignite a passion for learning in an exciting, spirited community. Joining us means you won’t just teach; you will shape characters and destinies, continuing a tradition that has been delivering exceptional education for six decades.

Our DESS Oud Metha primary school celebrated its 60th birthday last year and is the oldest British school in Dubai. Construction of our new primary school, DESS Academic City, will finish in time for it to open in September 2025. Both primary schools will provide a rite of passage for students to our DESS College, which provides Secondary and Sixth Form education for ages 11-18.

Also waiting with a warm welcome for you is the Emirate of Dubai; a vibrant, cosmopolitan, and dynamic environment where every day is packed with adventure and opportunities.

We are not just seeking teachers; we are looking for learning and development pioneers. Educators who will bring unbridled passion and innovation to their classrooms.

So, if you are passionate about making a difference and want space and support to drive the future of learning alongside a team dedicated to excellence and creativity, apply to join us today.
